According to reports, the woman, who hails from Balugaon, was in a live-in relationship with Tapan. Although he had promised to marry her, he later backed out of his commitment. Following a complaint filed by the victim at the Infocity Police Station, the police tracked down Tapan in Chandikhole and took him into custody. He was forwarded to court last night.
